Closing windows after exiting car
Ok so I found myself searching for something in the manual about how to close windows after exiting the car but couldn't find anything! But I know I have read about it before ... aaaanyway, I tried what I remembered: holding down the lock button on the door handle for three seconds. Zooop, up go the windows. HTH

You also can roll down all the windows holding down the unlock button on the key fob, but don't see a way to roll up using key fob.

I tried that today and couldn't get it to work.
To clarify, is it with the door handle already flush with the body (and the car locked)? I tried it both ways, and the handle moved in or out (whichever opposite way it started at) but that was all that happened.

If the windows are down, holding the lock button for 3 seconds will close all the windows. If the windows are up, you hold the unlock button for 3 seconds to open all the windows.

You need to enable the global settings in the main dashboard setup displayI tried that today and couldn't get it to work.
I was told by the JLR person that although Global Closing of the windows using the key fob (holding the lock button on the fob for 3 seconds) is mentioned in the manual it is disabled in the US (and perhaps other countries) because of safety reasons. I guess the concern is that you could accidentally close the windows on a child or a pet you left in the car with the windows cracked? (Which is probably a bad idea to to begin with)
I do believe you can lock the car and close all the windows remotely using Jaguar Remote app, so I don't know how that jives with the safety concern.

The remote app simply tells you if they are open. The only action that can be performed is to lock/unlock the doors
Its not safety it is probably because of our outdated regulations (like hey sensors! They don't exist!) and lawsuits/liability exposure. Some German cars I have had have done this while other manufacturers disable it in the US. I tried with the fob but nothing happened. I'll look for the enable global settings in the morning.
Here's something maybe everyone knows already, but since I just found it, I'll mention it.
When you press the open window rocker switch and it is automatically rolling all the way down, hitting the down direction again stops it at whatever partial rolldown is desired.
I always thought it required pulling the rocker switch up in the 'close window' direction, which sometimes works with a quick touch but often results in it going up automatically. Which is not stopping it in place if that is desired. Pressing it down a second time gets the perfect partially down position.

If you let off the button, there is a brief amount of time (less than 3 seconds) and you can repress the button continuously until the windows are rolled up. Wait longer and it becomes an unlock request.
This is similar to my 16 RR. I have to continuously touch the "spot" on the door handle to lock the RR and roll up the windows.

I can confirm that, that's how it works for me as well.
I wish this feature was available with the remote app. If we can unlock and lock the car remotely wouldn’t it be nice if we could do the same with the windows!?

2 options
1- you ask JLR to add the feature to the API
2- you install a product like this one (https://www.openvehicles.com/), you reverse engineer the CANBUS, and then you develop the API to control the CANBUS.
None of them are an easy task...
