I finally completed the climate control effect on range with the ambient temperature at 70 deg (21 C). Driving the same 37 mile (60 KM) course at an average of 50 MPH (80 KPH) with the climate in auto set to 69 deg (20.5 C) the car used 17% more energy than during the same test with climate control off. So even in mild weather the use of climate control has a significant impact on range. More importantly, the GoM underestimated the energy used by 13% which is significant on a long trip when planning charging stops.

So, at 30 deg (-1 C) using climate control in Auto uses about 32.6% more energy and at 70 deg it uses 17% more. The next test will be at 90 deg but I'm still waiting for the temperature to get there.
