That part number replaces C2Z16703. It's the smaller battery on the left side.

... In general, I think the AGM batteries are less reliable and more prone to issues that standard lead acid batteries.
NewJag, you may be right on this one. It is an AGM battery.

Hey anyone still on this thread, the saga continues. I got a pop-up alert from the WattCat app that says, "The 12v battery voltage is low. Consider taking your vehicle for a drive soon." Recall the 12V battery was the purported cause of the entire car going batsheet crazy and having to be towed. Now this notification twice in the last five days (the car has been driven, as recently as yesterday). Anyone else ever see this or have any insight? Oh, and no warnings from the Jag app itself, by the way...

Thanks

Hi, I have seen this message too, mine was a momentary low Auxilliary Battery voltage.

On the Wattcat Details Tab the Auxilliary Battery Voltage value is shown, please watch this over several hours. Let us know your findings.

This voltage aparently normally cycles up and down with short charging events as required by the battery. Sometimes this charging cycle fails.

Cheers, Steve
