Is this normal? Last week it went to 100% 84kwh energy state
How do I get those values? I know my model is a MY21 PiviPro HSE
What happens next? A Jaguar technician is in his way to my place. Will they replace it here or do we need a shop visit?Looks like your car has a faulty traction battery detected by H441 recall.
Oh god. I asked for a battery test when I bought the car and it didn’t flag anything. It’s 27000 miles and 94.5%.A multi-day repair at a Jaguar dealer after parts are obtained. There is a backlog and backorder for parts.
Technician has confirmed that it’s to go back for a repair. I can keep the car in use till they organise parts.A multi-day repair at a Jaguar dealer after parts are obtained. There is a backlog and backorder for parts.
The problem is what many (most?) of us have experienced. There is a manufacturing issue with the tract batteries that can cause a rare fire risk. There was a software update over the summer which helps detect affected cells and when they find something, yo get th traction battery error and charing will be limited to 73%. You got higher because it got there once when it detected the issue and when you attempt to charge the battery when it is above 73%, it wil simply stay to os fully charged. If you drive it down below 73%, it will remain at or below 73% until the battery is repaired. Many of us had to leave the car and driver a loaner and the process has taken between 2-3 months from diagnosis to parts ordering to repair.Technician has confirmed that it’s to go back for a repair. couldn’t be the 12V battery’s fault? How do I change it while under warranty? What does it cost?
If this is so common they should simply order a whole bunch and keep them around. Made to order is such a disruptive way of running a businessThe problem is what many (most?) of us have experienced. The warning that results from the H441 software update is not an instantaneous response, but results from an analysis of the charging/battery parameters reported by the car during charging. If this is so common they should simply order a whole bunch and keep them around. my beef is that they had my car last month for 10 days for a hvac replacement and didn’t apply H441 to test the batteries back then. That would have sped up the process much further.
The dealers aren’t helping the brand either. I suspect Jaguar will go to the direct sales model.
That doesn't seem right. H441 was a recall. Aren't recalls always free to the consumer? Someone set me straight if that's not correct.Lots of difficulty with the dealership which mad me pay for the H441 service as being outside warranty!
The customer letter very specifically states that the battery cell module/assembly will be replaced at no cost to the owner. That doesn't seem right. H441 was a recall. Aren't recalls always free to the consumer? Someone set me straight if that's not correct.
I have not heard of post-recall cars going in twice. I have heard of it happening with failed cells before the recall. Can this happen multiple time? That’s what’s scaring me now
So essentially H442 identifies bad cells by trying charge/discharge and notified the recall. Hopefully this ends all the issues.I have not heard of post-recall cars going in twice. I have heard of it happening with failed cells before the recall.
