California $2,500 rebate

Is anyone concerned that Jaguar has not yet completed the CA application to make the rebate available?

I have contacted CVRP a few weeks ago and confirmed the application is not complete.
I also contacted Jaguar USA and they acknowledged same.

As of Nov. 2016 California instituted income caps on EV rebates, as follows:

  • $150,000 for single filers
  • $204,000 for head–of–household filers
  • $300,000 for joint filers
So, many, if not most, prospective purchasers of a $70k - $90k car may not be concerned about its availability.

Same in Quebec, the I-Pace is still not on the approved vehicle list. We get $3K rebate up here.

Enough for a set of winter tires and wheels!
I mean unless you're retired, making less than $150k in this state with our housing costs, a $70k car still would seem to be a mighty stretch.

Today the Jaguar I-Pace is listed :smile2:
Tax rebates/incentives on EV's are basically gone in Ontario thanks to Ford. I believe there was a grace period if you had a model on order, but no new buyers are going to be able to take advantage of these initiatives.
But in Ontario, Incentives did not apply on cars over $75K. So the rebate was never applicable to the I-Pace.
