Great Thread!

BEST: *The Driving* How you can throw it around the corners on twisty mountain roads and how it still soaks up the bumps, the incredible one-pedal driving [all the while being in a really nice interior, the runner-up that's tied with the exterior looks]. Oh and third place is the excellent data collection of drives ("journeys") but I suspect Teslas have that too.

worst: that's a tough one ... minor annoyances add up to a hairball of small things ... some infotainment stuff (tried to add a "favorite" button to your personalized screen? good luck), seat memory doesn't remember lumbar pressure, lock-unlock BS to get the charging going or stopping, absolutely inane InControl control (or lack thereof) charging times ... some other stuff I don't care to remember right now.

Best wins by a gigantic margin BTW

I'm going to add a good surprise here. I've been using adaptive cruise control with steering assist and I'm getting the hang of it. It performs quite well overall on the freeway.

On straightaways and very gentle curves with clear lane markings it's good enough that you can temporarily take your hands off the wheel. If the curves get tighter it wobbles but it does a good enough job that all you have to do is help it a bit by actively steering to stay in the middle of the lane and not drift too much.

In more challenging situations it quits and picks back up fairly often. But that's ok because I have hands on wheel and paying attention. Given that the system is has its (documented) limitations, the silent quitting and picking back up is a feature, not a bug. I wouldn't want it to dingdingding all the time, and even in these situations it performs well enough that it makes for much more relaxed driving. Combined with the adaptive cruise control it's significantly stress-reducing.

Here's another one:

User Ipacelate on the UK forum said this:

"Silencing the annoying seat belt reminder that comes on a millisecond after setting off: in common with all other JLR products, sit in drivers seat, ignition 'on' but not 'started', plug seatbelt in and out 10 times within 60 secs until you hear a chime."

I just tried it and it worked! (After I think 8 in-and-outs)
