I took delivery of my new Fuji White HSE today - after ordering it last July! I had wanted an FE but didn't like any of the colours it came in, so I chose the HSE with all the options that the FE has as standard in North America. It is fully loaded!
The drive back to my home, 300 kms away, started out in ideal conditions, about 18C (64F) but a front moved in behind a thunderstorm with gale force winds right in my face and the temp. dropped to 5C. Truly what a BEV does not want. Nonetheless I managed the journey at 26 KWh/100 kms which is quite encouraging under the circumstances.
All the systems seem to be working fine except the Navigation which wanted to take me 324 kms instead of the 300 km direct route. I'll have to dig into the menu to find out why - maybe it wanted to take me on a sight-seeing tour of its own invention.
As I'm still breaking in I was sparing with the throttle but found that passing slower traffic was quite exhilarating. She really wants to go! Now she's getting her full charge in my garage, while I check Jaguar Remote every hour to see how it's going. So far so good.
