Android Auto and Jaguar main screen buttons

Hi,
when Android Auto is started, it occupies fully the screen.
This has the effect the button bar of the Jaguar main screen to disappear.
Anyone has found how to get the Jaguar bottom button bar AND the Android Auto at the same time?

I can understand sliding to not work, but the button shortcuts which disappear is quite annoying.

Unfortunately I believe it's an either/or situation with the I-Pace infotainment screen and Android Auto (AA). Once AA takes over it's shortcut buttons take over the bottom of the screen. The only way to get back to the Jag Infotainment is thru hitting the steering wheel icon at the bottom of the AA screen and then clicking on "Return to Jaguar" button.
This is unfortunately Google requirements to take over entire touch screen. Only cars with physical 'short cut buttons' are in better situation. Same applies to all other cars, where only touch screen is fitted (without hard keys).
This is not the case with Pivi where function selection happens from soft "buttons" at the left and right of the screen

When switching to android auto soft buttons are retained on the left for camera and settings and on the right for car Nav, phone, media selector and home (effectively exit android auto and return to the Pivi home screen).
Does anyone know whether the 2022 model HUD can display Google Maps (or Waze) directions when being used via Android Auto instead of the built in Nav system?

Doesn't work like that in the 21 and would be surprised if it did in the 22 (which has the same PIvi setup and components as I understand it).
