I currently have a MY20 i-pace,

When I set the ASL to +3 mph from the last visible road sign it remembers this as i drive through subsequent limits

70 +3 - >73
63
53
33
63 etc.

I'm getting a MY21 with the newer Pivi Pro, and having just driven an MY21 Evoque with the same System, it appears to revert to the signed speed each time, rather than the sign + the mph adjustment I nudged in.

can anyone confirm or deny that this is the same in the MY21? not a show stopper, but a touch annoying based on the older versions behaviour.

You appear to be telling us your speed limiter changes the speed on your car based on the just the signs info. I have a 2019 HSE and my heads up display is where I see the speed limit sign info. I have never noted the cruise control following that sign info. You definitely have me confused.

I believe it is an option. I remember seeing something like that when digging through the options and thinking I’m definitely turning that off!

For some reason, speed limits in Europe change every 30 feet. Err, 9 meters I mean. So this is a seriously useful feature in the EU.

My MY20 has adaptive speed limit, just press LIM and hold CANCEL for 2 seconds. Then use set +/- to offset the speed.

Settings > Vehicle > Driver Assistance > Cruise and Limiter

I can set it to automatically adapt for speed limits. I don’t see an option to adjust for +3 mph

There is a speed limit warning option, but that’s to warn you if you at or above the speed limit.

Quite annoying that’s it’s no longer available for people that used it.

I have a 2019 I-Pace. It appears that my owners manual has no direction for pressing the green limiter button.

I found it in the 2019 manual, look for "Adaptive speed limiter". Found it in the 2021 manual too.

  1. Move and release the speed control switch to the SET+ position (3). The maximum vehicle speed rises to 2 km/h (1 mph) above the detected speed limit. The maximum increase available is 10 km/h (6 mph) above the detected speed limit. Move and hold the speed control switch in the SET+ position. The maximum vehicle speed rises directly to 10 km/h (6 mph) above the detected speed limit.
  2. Move and release the speed control switch to the - position (4). The maximum vehicle speed lowers to 2 km/h (1 mph) below the detected speed limit. The maximum decrease available is 10 km/h (6 mph) below the detected speed limit. Move and hold the speed control switch in the - position. The maximum vehicle speed lowers directly to 10 km/h (6 mph) below the detected speed limit.

Thanks, Yes, I did find it and tested it out. I did not see any relevance for my driving. I guess if you are 1 step away from losing your license it may help. I did not try it out far enough, to see if it responds to the traffic signs. Thanks for the knowledge!
