My first issue.

No problems until I parked up did my shopping then...
... Got back into car with red warning lights

Suspension fault detected
- ACC disabled
- power reduced
- comfort drive only
- stability control unavailable
- ok to drive but do so with caution

Guess who will be at the Jaguar dealer this week. I wonder if they will even know.

Anyway when I learn more I’ll add the learnings in case anyone has the same issue in future.

Best

I had basically most of those same lights/warnings at almost exactly the same miles. PLUS, my car was violently going SHUDDER-SHUDDER-SHUDDER at low speeds. They said the speed limiter had got set to 0 or 1 MPH. And, then eventually it stopped responding to the throttle altogether. Jag has it now, but it hit on Saturday, so I have to wait until tomorrow to get a tech to look at it. Please let me know if you see anything like that, too. My big fear is that they'll fool with it in the morning, THEN not get around to calling over to England until after they're gone for the day.

I'm very sorry for you, but I kinda hope we have the same problem - just so they'll get it figured out. Good luck, and keep us posted!

I somehow stuck my post in a the wrong forum, but I'll link to it anyway:

You didn't just get it paint/leather sealed did you? Because that was the first time it happened to mine.

Rut roh... :(
Keep us updated.
I seldom buy Year One cars because of teething pains and Year Two improvements. I gambled this time.

Dropped off at local Jaguar dealership. 2 week wait on a loan car, so don’t break down people #hmmmm - review of car to start Wednesday #diagnostics. My opinion is this is a software issue. Still likely without vehicle for a while. Will post updates as I learn more.

What do you mean by '2 week wait on a loan car"? They don't have any loaner car for you at all; no Jag or LR anything? That would be unacceptable.

Yep no loan cars Jaguar Austin 2 week wait. Worth checking the average at your local as I’m told it’s the norm at some dealerships. My purchase dealership has offered to cover the cost of a rental until rectified.

Sorry to hear about the problem, AustinTXUSA-IPACE. You said "My purchase dealership has offered to cover the cost of a rental until rectified." I presumed you bought the I-Pace at JLR Austin, and you're getting it serviced there too, no? As a fellow Austin resident (who hasn't pulled the trigger on an I-Pace yet), I'm very interested to hear how JLR Austin handle the service and customer service aspects here.

I originally purchased from JLR Austin but cancelled and purchased from Park Place DFW whole different car buying experience. They are opening a ParkPlace JLR north Austin in 2019. Service matters to me both the buying and the aftercare. See https://gff.com/view/park-place-jaguar-land-rover-north-austin/

Update: So after Pre-delivery checklist repeated no items were found to be missing. Further detail inspection found a rear ground wire had become disconnected which caused havoc on all electrics.. Once reconnected and comms updated car seems good to go. Good news and helpful to others in future. In fairness to JLR Austin Service team, they found the issue and resolved for me squeezing me in among those already scheduled. My advice if your wonder car is causing you electric failure warnings reference this fix as a potential remedy. Back on the road this weekend!

800+ miles and I’m sitting in waiting room of dealership. I was offered a loaner but they said if I could hold on for an hour or two they’d know more. Didn’t really want a loaner as I was hoping to drive iPace to beach. This would be my 3rd road trip that involved looking for charge stations. I’ve planned the trip and have it preloaded in Nav system. With all that said I’m here because of driver’s side strut noise when rolling over speed bumps. Someone mentioned a possible bulletin but service advisor didn’t show one. They did show an update for the temperature control. He said it would take an hour and advised to just wait for that.Ill let you know how it goes.

The suspension bulletin has been out for a couple months. I’ve posted it before, let me get to a computer and try to find it
