Scheduled to drop off at the dealer on 15th January. IPace was at dealer late Dec to get touch screens operational again that had blanked. These are new issues.

IPace is losing charge overnight or every 12 hours. Losing 2 miles of range or 1 % battery approximately every 12 hours or 4 miles of estimated range and 2% every 24 hours. Taking screen shots when parked at end of day and next morning from in-control app to track battery drain.

USB music is showing music under wrong artist. Display The Who and see music from all sorts of artist when selecting the queue. Unclear why this happens with some artist and not others. Have not tried unplugging the USB dongle and plugging in again.

Small touch display of media favorites for radio will not stay on the screen. Returns back to advance track screen after about 1 second. Can’t scroll radio screen of favorites. Screen glitchy. Sirius favorites will stay on the small screen without a problem.

Will post an update after dealer visit

If you are not plugged in, 1-2% loss a day is not bizarre for any EV with telemetry and burglar alarm active in the winter. Even ICE cars with telemetry and alarms don't like to sit too long without a trickle charger. This is why I'm puzzled about whether Jaguar wants us to keep the car at 100% charge indicated. That's how I've always parked EVs, that is plugged in.

The 18D update does mention getting the right labeling for the song titles.

I had a hassle getting the car to accept a USB dongle at first. The fix was using a Win7 computer to format the media instead of Win10. But the music titles are always right on my stick even with 18C software.

Trivia - 18C will allow the front camera to display at up to 25 mph on the center screen. Makes you wonder why they didn't sell a 'dashcam recorder' like Cadillac.

Are 18C & D software releases? I was told by the service mgr where I got my car that they are expecting to have a software release by Jan 31st. Not sure if this is the 15.2 version that UK forum has been talking about.

18D Entertainment update is already available. The only reason I don't have it, was I'd have to leave my car with JLR for 6 days, and I wanted to drive it.

Why they are not pushing out as an Over The Air is a minor disappointment. I'm not good with it taking days to do a 1hr job.

JLR's Service Information Service is called TOPIx. It is regional in nature. It says nothing about a 15.2 (or the 14.2) update being available in the USA.

Are they saying 6 days just for the 18D update? My dealer did mine the same day. Just for kicks I messaged JLR about the promised OTA updates and Amazon Alexa integration yesterday but have not had a reply.

Both Newport Beach Jaguar and Anaheim Jaguar both said they could do it while I waited if I made an appointment. First appointment took 4? days to get a time, but when I arrived, no love, leave the car. Not an option since they already used up all my available time that day, so I left.
Then Anaheim, 7 days to wait for an appointment, they sent an email confirming it, I arrive before they open, and tell me 6 days before they can even think about hooking it up to their dealer flash tool.

At first I left it, since they gave me a loaner Range Rover, but then I balked and went back to get my car. My car runs just fine, just want to see what trouble codes were stored in it, and get the new 18D flash.
I love driving the car too much to surrender it for an undetermined time to people who quite frankly, know very, very little about Jaguar's I-Pace or how they update or get data.

I was told the reason I was having intermittent software issues was that my AT&T data plan was spent or expired. This was at 29 days and 5% of data into a 90 day / 5GB plan according to AT&T whom I called.

The 'intermittent software' bug was the inability to locate DCFC charging stations even when I was in visual range of them. They said that was because the car gets DCFC nav info from the AT&T account which was expired or not activated. Wrong. I just use Plugshare now. JLR will eventually fix it.

Feel ya on that. I used to be a mechanic at a shop and it drives me nuts when you see how poorly one is run and the lies they tell you about service times. I've been having problems with the dealership I bought mine from, Livermore CA, where they let the car sit for days with nothing done and don't give you updates on what's going on. I'm going to try going to another dealership for service.

My bugs? The I-Pace won't connect to the wifi network. I think it did once, but not anymore. It doesn't stick to the charge schedule we set. I don't like that the charger locks. That's just a stupid detail. Does Waze ever show up on the heads up display? I don't think it does. Also they forgot to install the nav maps for the stock computer. Going in on Thursday for those.

I had similar issues as well, however all was fixed via some OTA which was installed. I never visited any dealer for this and simply went to my official JLR dealer whom are conveniently 5mins from my house, they ran my plate and said all is updated and those issues you reported before shall be solved...and they are. What I did do when i was having the issues was removed the App from my Android and deleted / forgot my Android phone completely from the I-Pace.

Reading this forum i truly believe that things work differnet for the North America I-Paces compared to the ones we have in Europe. Obviously the software is different, the charge port and things like this but I would imagine that OTA and stuff like that should be somewhat similar. Possibly also the Europe dealers have received better training in how to manage them as I have up to now only had a very positive experience with my dealer and their service personnel.

Thanks for the heads up. 1st EV so ignorant about what is expected for battery drain when EV parked and not use overnight.

Wanted to clarify about the labeling. The queue shows songs from other artist and plays those songs from other artist, not just a label problem but throwing in songs from U2 and others in The Whos Greatest Hits. So more than just a label problem rather wrong songs all together for the album. Will see if an 18C or D update corrects that.

Anyone seen the favorites problem for the radio?

I am going to Riverside dealer, part of Indigo group where I purchased from in Rancho Mirage. Just a tad closer than San Diego dealer although Anaheim could be an option. Riverside was just acquired by Indigo group right before Xmas. I may be the 1st IPace they have seen in service.

I just left my car sit for 5 days and it only lost 1%...
Check my math:

1% in 12 hr would be 84,700 watts of battery x 0.01 = 847Wh / 12h or 70 watts to operate the burglar alarm, listen for a Telemetry (cellphone) request, and monitor pack temperatures, or other drains.

We do know that a locked Tesla can lose >30% in 5 days at an airport.

I parked the car at Noon Wednesday in my heated garage with 55%, arrived home at 1500 Monday with 54%. The car was parked, locked and alarmed. I didn’t turn off the precondition schedule. It only lost 1% in 5 days. That is pretty good in my opinion

If the typical dealer sales teams are not well-attuned to the uniqueness of the I-Pace in the Jaguar lineup, I can only imagine the level of disconnect in the service department! It's one thing to learn how to operate all the new tech, quite another to repair it! Keep us all posted!

WiFi off? Trying to think of what other drains there can be. Bluetooth? Car is garaged but the key is in the area (GMs will suffer from this).

I had similar result leaving mine 5 days in open-air airport parking garage (Tampa - temps 55-75F): about 1% loss (mid-60% SOC) so just a couple of miles of range while sitting locked, alarmed, unplugged, and with no preconditioning. I did use InControl app once to check SOC (day before returning), but other than that no power use.

Follow up after dealer visit

Dropped off at dealer on Tuesday morning. Wednesday afternoon car was ready.

Infotainment was updated to D from C.

Favorites in radio was working.
UCB music was partially fixed, now displaying all songs from an album and also some duplicate tracks with another artist. So workaround at least to be able to play all tracks from an artist and ignore additional tracks for same song from another artist.

No official word yet from Jaguar Mother Ship on what is expected drain given conditions such as temperature, preconditioning or other factors. So dealer is waiting to hear an official word from The Mother Ship.

However not all is well. After going to kids game Wednesday night, both touch screens were off again. UGGGGGGGGGGG. This is the second time this has happened. No climate control, no navigation, not bluetooth connectivity for calls, no music at all. It was raining so windows would fog up and had to drive with cracked windows to counter act the fog.

The dealer dropped off a loaner Thursday and picked up my IPace for the inconvenience. This was good because the next available service appointment on the dealer website was a week out. Current status is the tech does not know what caused the problem. I guess that means no codes? So they don't know what to do to fix the touch screens right now.

Definitely not happy to be without the IPace and extended period or that the touch screens went out a second time.

I just dropped my car off yesterday at the dealer to update from C to D as well. While speaking with the dealer about I-Pace issues others have had, he told me that the Blank screens issue is NOT just on I-Paces. It is fleet wide and extremely sporadic, but they have seen it on F-Pace and Range Rover Velar's as well.

Fortunately it has never happened in my car. Keeping my fingers crossed.
