So I guess I am pretty much the only one that does not like the flat plastic grille?

I don't like it either. I like the old grille with the black exterior pack. Nice texture.

If the channel is closed by the new grill, then the scooped hood would become a reservoir for rain water… I believe there must be an outlet of some sort. Aerodynamic engineering? Probably not. Interesting to see JLR abandon the scoop and the Polestar 3 take on the design language.
