With such a well designed all-electric vehicle like the I-Pace, it’s no wonder why Jaguar is eager to show off ever curve via an album with 95 images. Of course, Jaguar probably wants a large collection of images commemorating what
CarScoops calls a “landmark moment for the British car maker”. Some even claims the model is as important as the iconic E-Type.
Electrification is the future and every automaker seems to be in a rush to release their own offering, but Jaguar is one of the first to release a long-range premium crossover aside from Tesla.
Featuring two electric motors, with one mounted at each axle, the I-Pace can send 395hp and 513lb-ft of torque to all four wheels. That’s enough to rocket the vehicle from 0-60mph in 4.5 seconds before hitting a top speed of 124mph. What makes the I-Pace even more appealing is its driving range per charge.
Electric range is increasing in leaps and bounds with a range exceeding 200 miles quickly becoming the new standard. The Jaguar I-Pace exceeds that with an EPA estimated range of 240 miles on a full charge, though real world numbers could vary as the units tested in Europe using the latest WLTP cycle returned a higher number of 298 miles.
Charging up to 80% in just 40 minutes using a 100kW fast charger, the I-Pace is a steal at $70,495 before any federal and local government incentives are applied.
