Hi all. I just got a my I-Pace a few days ago. When trying my local fast charger (twice), I was only pulling about 40-50 kW rate of charge on an Electrify America DC fast charger (up to 350 kW). This is not good for long distance trips, which I'll soon need to do. Does anyone know if the dealer needs to do the software update for charging up to 100, or is it OTA? If it was already out, not sure why it wouldn't have been done during the pre-delivery inspection at the dealer.
There are two software versions you can check in the car: Infotainment (currently 19A) and Telematics (currently 15.2). Neither are available OTA at this time. I’m not sure which one of these (if either) controls charge rate, but I know others are charging at over 50.

I would like to hear what they sent you out the door with. I suspect 18C and 14.2.

Did you get 19A and 15.2 from the dealer? I have an appointment on the 28th and would like to ask the dealer to have them update to the latest versions.
My car is as it was delivered last November (18C/14.2). I’m nearly 500 miles away from the dealer and 200 miles away from a DC charger. Up until a few weeks ago, when the weather warmed up, there was no possibility of going 200 miles on a charge, so no good option to visit the dealer.

I’m going to what to see before driving down there because I have a hunch that dealer has only sold two cars, mine and the one the OP is driving...

My car has been at the dealer for a few days. My software was 14.2, not sure about the other version. I spoke w/ the tech tonight who informed me that Jaguar US does not allow higher than 50kW. He is aware that higher rates of 100kW are allowed in Europe, but said it has something to do w/ the US battery warranty that it is limited to 50kW.

This is a major problem for me. While I don't want to drive cross country, I was planning to take several longer trips this summer taking advantage of fast charging. The Jaguar brochure I brought home says up to 100kW charging...this is what I was expecting when I purchased the car. Anything less that that is false advertising, IMHO. I mentioned this to the tech, who said "it is up to 100kW", implying that 50kW is within that 100. But with that logic, they might as well have said 10,000kW, since 50kW is also within that number.

So, can any US I-Pace owners definitively tell me if they've charged above 50kW? Based on the 100kW number being in their own brochure, I have a hard time believing that my tech has the right information. Plus, 50 would just be really lame for a $90,000 car.
Although I do not have personal experience in that regard, I would be willing to bet your tech has no idea what he is talking about.
