Exclamation I-Pace SVR Will Be Game Changing

"I-Pace SVR Will Be Game Changing" is a bold statement and that's simply because the I-Pace SVR will be a BOLD vehicle, everything enthusiasts are looking for. Come time for launch the following is expected. Compared to what other car makers have planned, this new SVR product will be unmatched. Here's a breakdown of the to be features:
  • near 50/50 weight distribution
  • prioritized handling
  • 0-60mph in just 1.8 seconds

It's a short list so far till Jaguar decides to release more. Once ready, expect to see it proven on the Nurburgring.

I don't think the 1.8 sec is realistic for a 2 ton vehicle but I'm still willing to trade in my standard I-Pace to this animal once it is available

Hi
I have owned an I-Pace since January. A Jaguar insider has confirmed to me that they have already produced an I-Pace model which will do 0-60 in 1.9 seconds but at the time they had no interest in putting it on the road for general use. Watch this space...

I'd buy that for a dollar!

Vaporware. It's nice to know that they're 'thinking' about it, but personally, I don't have faith that JLR will actually build an SVR version of the I-Pace. Would be nice to compete with Porsche and Audi with their (and other mfgr) EV's coming out in the next couple years. Not holding my breath. Until real plans, dates, specs, and expected price are to be released, it's just wishful thinking and vaporware.

They absolutely should build it. It would be a shot right up the nose of Tesla AND Porsche. Even if they lost 50k on each one, it would get them so much good press to have the absolute fastest non-exotic car available.

It was frustrating enough spending $90k on this vehicle and having the Infotainment issues/slowness and lack of software OTA updates it has (still almost 1 year after ownership). Imagine spending $130k+ on an "Jaguar I-Pace SVR" and having the same Infotainment issues? My I-Pace's Navi voice control still only works 50%-75% of the time...it's very sad. The car drives great though, lol!

Imagine 0-60 in 1.9 seconds. Ah, but the infotainment is so slow!

I think it was a misprint. The infotainment RESPONDS within 1.9 seconds, but the car is fast!
