Max 240v Charging Amps?

For those with 40 amp or better chargers that will display charging amps, what peak amps are you seeing?
I'm seeing 30.8 amps peak with a Juicebox 32 Pro, and wondering if I screwed up buying the 32 which was on sale?
Will a 40 amp charger hit over 32 amps? My 40 amp Juicebox 40 (gen 1) does not report amps.

Jaguar i-Pace FE Photon Red 20" wheels, "Leaper"
Two Chevrolet Volts in service
24.2 kW x 480v 3ph solar array self-installed.

Where does it display it?

30.8 amps sounds good to me.

Max current dictated by onboard charger.

240 v x 30.8 a.= 7,392 watts.

Higher amp wall charger won't get any more power do to I-pace low charge rate. ~7kW.

Some new EVs have higher power onboard chargers eg. 11 kW.

The Juicebox Pro's show amps and volts on your cellphone app.
I saved a little going with the 32a, but the main thing is I wanted a thinner cable. Nope, it's the same massive cable you find on the JB 40. It's probably the thickest L2 cable in existence. And it's HEAVY. It's thicker than many "commercial" cables found at remote charging sites.

The 24' cable does not touch the ground, and doesn't need to be unwrapped to plug car in when garaged. But will reach all the way across the driveway JIC.

yep - this company, ChargeHub has a table showing that the 240V/32A @ 7.7kW fully charges the I-Pace in 12.9 hours, which is the same amount of time using 240v/40A @ 9.6kW due to the onboard charger limiting the AC charging. You have to go DC combo to charge any faster. I bought a 40amp anyway.

In comparison, a Bosch L2 EVSE has a cable just over 1/2 as thick and very light:

I believe the I-Pace is limited to a 7.2kw charger so doesn't matter if you have a 40amp charger you won't be able to charger higher than a 32amp charger

Like the cover over your charger. If you do not mind me asking, what did you use to shield the charger?

No screw up. Only if you saw 32 would you question if I-Pace could draw more.
Even my Schneider at just 30 amps would seem like plenty of power. Although most of my charging is at work at just 20 amps due to limited power. This works perfectly fine too even if a bit slower.
