Mud Flaps and J1772 Cap Plug

I just wanted to show how the Dust (Mud) flaps look on the I-Pace.
And for anyone wanting added protection for the AC charge port, I had
this Cap Plug 3D custom printed. I could not find one online so I had it
designed and printed per my spec. (at home)

Looks great! Did you install these yourself? I've seen the mud flaps on the bay but did not purchase because none of the sellers could provide me with installation instructions.

I've pondered putting them on. I wonder how they'll cause more snow/ice build up in winter. Some sites say adding mud flaps will reduce the aerodynamics and reduce the range. What? Maybe a 1/8 of mile?

Adding mud flaps was suggested as a method to reduce paint chipping problems on model T M3 cars that were delivered to Finland. Apparently the paint was tested and found to be too thin and not hard enough to meet the government mandated standards.

Are you going to market the socket plugs?

Meldev##44, care to share that file/spec for the plug? Love the idea and my 10 y/o son (for whom I bought the 3D printer) will be super excited to print it for me!
