I'm not sure Jaguar SVT would actually build the cars. I think I read they do not, they just spec it, and ship it to a race outfitter. In production racing, they normally ship a new car to a builder, they take it all apart, install the rollcage and any other welded structures, then put it back together with race components where necessary. I know the front end is not OEM but it still shares a lot of parts with the OEM car.
Some parts are fabricated and just have the 'look' of the factory car like the front fenders. So the wing they use might not fit, depending on how it attaches.
Some cars are highly misleading. Like the C5.R+ Corvette endurance racers. They share virtually no parts with the OEM car. The part LOOK a lot alike, but everything has been optimized for maximum performance. If making a new engine block saves 4 lbs, they do it even though a stock block would work.
