Would you return your I-Pace?

My I-Pace is scheduled for delivery in about 4 weeks. Im still pretty committed to getting it but wanted to know the opinion of current owners. There have obviously been many issues with the car ranging from minor to significant. If you had the option of returning it right now, no questions asked and no loss of money, would you return it or keep it?

I'm on the fence at the moment. If they can get the infotainment system to work the way it's supposed to, I would say I'd definitely keep it. At the moment I'm just not sure...

There is so much I really like about the car. The interior feels and even smells great. The looks are dead sexy. The handling is wonderful for a car of this type.

It's the first EV I've driven that has anything resembling a soul - I'm an Alfa nut so I can say that...

The strange thing about the car is you can just feel they were running out of money when it came to the infotainment system. Why not just take the entire screen system from the Velar? That car is priced similarly, is in the JLR family yet they gave it a much more upscale feel to the knobs, screens, and switches - even on the steering wheel.

Sorry to rant again as I have in some other threads. It's just the first car I've owned in a very long time that perplexes me this much!

Nope, keep it for sure. I love how it rides, the looks are awesome, and it’s really comfortable. The issues I’ve had so far:
  • REALLY laggy reversing camera (especially when it starts beeping because of proximity or updating the lines on the display)
  • sluggish infotainment
  • top screen staying blank once (figured out a workaround to restore it)
  • foot sensor for tailgate is really picky
  • can’t make it start in dynamic mode each time (documented in manual)
  • have yet to hear of anyone charging at the rate JLR said (0-80% in 45m)

Keep it. No significant issues. No regrets.

Keep. Maybe change some options in hindsight.

Absolutely, without a moments hesitation, return it.

There is a lot to like about the car & if you are committed to BEV above most else, it is probably the right car to have. But for >$90,000...there are so, so many way better cars out there.
