Apples and kumquats. Those CCS sites are almost all 24kW or 50kW max. They are in urban areas to support city cars like the i3. With the exception of Electrify America locations above 50kW there are only the single EVgo site in Baker and the single Recargo site in Prunedale.

Actual more like fish to bicycles.

But it is refreshing to hear a Teslite admit CCS even exists. Probably because the Euro cars have it?

My charge today at EA in Maryland worked perfectly. Charging most of the way at 80 kwh when up to 80%. Now at 87% and down 47 kwh. All in I added 44% in 34 min.

After two failed attempts to fast charge at EVgo stations I had success at an EA station in Colorado Springs. It was easy as pie and the station is pristine - six stations with some rated at 350kW. It's the only non-EVgo fast charging station in the Springs but it was worth the drive.

I'm going for my first road trip tomorrow, Saturday, kind of the reverse of yours. Ft. Lauderdale to Daytona.

I figured I'd use the Nav system which I've been looking at a little. It is currently showing my home as a charging station, so it's at least a little smart. It also shows details like power level, total numbers and total available, and such.

Should I assume those may be inaccurate and back up my Nav info with a phone app?

Was the Treasure Coast Jag dealer charger a fast charger (and do most of the dealers have fast chargers)?

The trip is just outside my likely range (although I'll ECO on the way up), so I'll probably look for a mid-way charge and I hope a hotel with chargers also.

You've got an Electrify America Station on the way just off I-95 in Port St. Lucie. Top off there in 30 min and you're good for the remainder. Also an EA station in Ormond Beach just N of Daytona. https://www.electrifyamerica.com/locate-charger

I recommend researching this ahead of time and having a plan of where to stop ... "hope" is not a good strategy when it comes to on-the-road or hotel charging.

https://na.chargepoint.com/charge_point
https://www.electrifyamerica.com/locate-charger
https://www.evgo.com/charging-locations/
https://www.plugshare.com/

And then just use google nav to get you to the places. If you have a TeslaTap you can also charge at Tesla Destination Chargers .. those are more common at hotels than Chargepoint (at least in CA)

Thanks. I had just found the Ormond Beach location at the Wal-Mart, apparently. Didn't know about the PSL one.

Between those two I should be well hooked up.
