Today on the 241 Toll Road I saw 5 crashes, but luckily none of them in real time. People were hydroplaning into the landscape. Or they were simply driving backwards or sideways and parked funny. A Cadillac CTS-V lost the back end of the car. There are a reason they call those Summer Performance tires. A pickup tore off a front wheel assy.
The I-Pace is the most stable car I've ever driven in the heavy rain. Note: I was on the 20" all season tires, 41psi front, 45psi rear. 22" results will certainly be different as would lower pressures.
However, you can hydroplane any car, it's a question of speed. Be safe out there.
