Southern California i-Pace Ordered

Went to Newport Beach Land Rover and Jaguar, and ordered an i-Pace FE in Red.
They really could not deal with the order very well. It took a long time.
In theory, I should be able to 'see' a car in August (har), delivery for October with no confirmation yet.
We have been driving on electricity for 5 years, 90% EV miles for a of family of four.
Reserved a Tesla Model 3 two years, 2 months ago. No 'invite' yet. So I decided to switch horses.
The i-Pace appears to be a better value than the Tesla Model S 75D or Tesla Model X 75D when you equip them the same.

The dealer could not answer whether they will have a lightweight hitch (for things like a bicycle rack) yet.
In fact, there was no listed Dealer Installed Options yet.

Interesting.

Guess my dealer didn't know much about about the car. I hope that doesn't cause problems.

From the British owners manual - 84.7 kWh usable battery. At 3.5 miles per kWh that will achieve about 300 miles.
The question is what speed is 3.5 kWh/m? Other Permanent Magnet cars can go about 70 mph, but the EV400 is heavier by 1,000lb.
I'm guessing 65 mph will reach about 270-280 miles.

I stuck with the 20" for the softer ride and better range. Went with the oyster (tan) interior and headliner since it's a glass roof and I want the interior to stay cool and use less AC power.

Why is that odd? I've been driving on electricity for over 5 years, and I know 'a bit' about cars. I would have ordered it with 18" wheels if possible, but the FE only comes with 20/22 wheels and a glass roof, neither of which I'm fond of, but required if I want the FE.
