I realy cant relate to all your experiences, my system (meridian 850W) sounds like a tin can without any equalizer presets like "concert", "jazz", "techno". I just have 3 simpel control bars for 1 subwoofer, trebble and bass.........

Mine sounds fine. It is limited more by quality of my digital format media than the system itself. No unwanted vibration, excellent separation, plenty of power, good clarity, simple to use. Voice tuning FM works well.

But... What is the quick way to turn down the Navigation Gal's voice?

Jaguar i-Pace FE Photon Red 20" wheels, "Leaper"
Two Chevrolet Volts in service
24.2 kW x 480v 3ph solar array self-installed.

That was one thing I got figured out before my first I-Paces ceased up ... The Nav voice has her own volume. If you turn down the volume know while she's talking, that will only make her more quiet - and does not affect the rest of your music/media volume. In fact, if you look closely (again while she's talking), the volume level indicator bar on the screen changes color (I can't remember to what, but I think it goes from white to blue something) to try to indicate that she's got her own level. And, it will remember that for the future.

I think the system is good. Pretty much like rat said. Little point in putting anything better in a car. I'd pump the bass up a little on the eq.

Adjust volume with the scrollbar while she is talking.
