Thoughts on DULL plastic license area? Suggestions to remedy?

I ordered a Black i-pace and finally saw one in real life at the dealer for my first test driving (ordered in Aug, still awaiting delivery). The rich black finish was beautiful, but when it came to the rear area where the license plate goes, I though the dull plastic made the car look cheap. Anyone else agree? Thought on how to remedy? It's less noticeable on non-black cars due to the contrast, but I think detracts substantially from jet black vehicle finish. It appears to be a separate piece that Jaguar (or any body shop) could refinish and paint.

Love to hear others' thoughts or suggestions...

Some of the guys in the UK have wrapped in in gloss black to almost match the paint. I have also seen a carbon fiber wrap of the area.

Weird, I didn't notice that but typically they intentionally leave areas like that or the rocker panels plastic on low level trims as a way to help distinguish between trim levels. Not the case with I-Pace however!

I ordered the HSE, agree with trim comment. I will likely have to address post-purchase.

it's where it doesn't say iPace or EV400

Weird, I never noticed that funny-shaped space there. I don't think it's going to bother me too much but it is a bit odd that they don't just paint that the car's color ?!?

Where do you get that? Do you need to do it yourself?

If you do a custom order build it is an option. You can also delete all badges.

you can order it that way or just remove the badges with fishing line after the fact.
Any body shop, clear bra or window tint installer can get the badges off cleanly in 10 minutes

Really? I'd have taken it if I saw it, but I can't find de-badging anywhere on the configuration site or brochure (USA). Maybe I'll get it done later. Thanks,
