The author didn't know you can just say Tune FM 95.1 (?) after pushing the talk button on the left side steering wheel controls, above the chrome rotary control.
I'm still playing with them. There is actually a tutorial video built into the car for the voice commands, and written tables of commands. But if you come close to the command words, the Voice will talk you through your choices. Push and say Bluetooth to see what I mean.

That's pretty cool. How comprehensive is the tutorial, what does it cover?

It's sort of weak to be honest. And there is not a lot of commands yet. Limited infotainment and Navigation. Something as simple as "Drive To Favorite, Tom" won't work. Or "Return Trip". Not even sure there is a "Drive Home" command.

But I'm just starting to play with it.

What I cannot seem to get working is the "Desired Charging Time" settings to work. When I set it to 10PM to 6AM, it starts charging immediately instead. And it doesn't appear to be geo-mapped anyways. That is really important. Only when charging at home do you want to delay charging. The Phone App won't program the charging time either. Hope they update these features. The Volt spoiled me.

What I didn't like about the "Desired Charging Time" setting was that I had set it to "night time hours" for when I was at home. But, then I drove to my office that has free chargers ... and I almost didn't notice after plugging in that the car wasn't bothering to charge because it was daytime. This feature should ONLY function when the car knows it's at home.

I rapidly decided to never use this feature in the car until it can be paired with a "location". My charger lets me set a delay to avoid charging at home until the rates change.

My home EVSE/charger is programmable. I never needed to program it with the Bolt, because the Bolt is pretty flexible with its own charging configurations. But it should make the Jag's deficiency a non-issue. Also, my plan is never to charge anywhere except my own garage, so no problem with unintended delays.

Wifey bought me a newer JuiceBox Pro that allows programming. Mine is the old school in the aluminum box.
So I will install the old box at work (I only have a 16a setup there) and the new one at home so I don't have to use the JLR timer.

But anything other than Departure Based Charging is weak sauce. Chevrolet was freakin' brilliant on that account. That way the battery is warm when you take off automatically, and if your TOU window is not big enough, it will still fully charge the car without reprogramming it.

Juicebox Pro 40 - that's the same one I got. Just need to figure out the programming now...

I also liked that the Chevy would complete charging (to 87% for the Bolt) just at my departure time, so the battery would not sit around at anywhere close to a full charge - supposed to be better for battery durability. I never thought about warming the battery; I figured it was always warm enough in my California garage anyway.
