Any deals on purchase price?

I was just checking Kelly Blue Book for guidance on invoice, MSRP, and fair purchase price. For the EV400 S vehicle that I ordered (delivery is within the next two weeks), the MSRP is $76,235. KBB says fair purchase price is $73,864 for my zip code. For people that have purchased their I-Pace did you get any discounts?

Thanks!

I found a dealer in Florida that would give 1k off - however they also had the craziest dealer fees I've ever seen.

Dealer markup is less than 3%, so unless JLR offers some incentives or the dealer is desperate, I would not expect to see much, if any movement from MSRP

Paid MSRP, but the car was ordered. No games though. It was true MSRP + actual fees and dest. Got full value on the trade. I'll admit I haven't bought a car at MSRP in a long time. But I guess with $10,450 available rebates for Calif SCE customers under $300k/yr joint income, since it's an EV, it could be argued that I did not pay MSRP in the long run.

What #McRat said... considering my $7500 EV rebate my 'discount'. (Tesla has already had to cut prices across the board to offset expiration of their $7500 rebates.) Hard to discount product when in such high demand... this may wane as dealers build up some inventory. Thin margins, too. Frankly, I think dealer will make more off my trade-in than they did off my i-Pace!

OK, thanks for the info. BTW, SCE rebate is now $1000 for PHEV/BEV bought in 2019.

Yep. I lost $550 by not waiting until January. I did not know it at the time, but even if I did, I would not have waited. I needed the $7500 fed exception for 2018.

I have it through very reliable sources the total markup on a $90K I-Pace is roughly $1800 on the front end of the deal.
If the dealer is big their back end is 1.78%
