GoM DROPS when using Eco Mode?

Well, this is new....

When I put the car into Eco mode, the range drops like 35-40 miles. I go back to normal mode and it comes back up.

My eco panel still doesn't work - it shows the AC is on but doesn't show any change if I turn it off.

Loving the new software...

I've tried the OTA update a bunch but my car claims to be up to date. All of this is from when I had the dealer do the update from the recall..

When the car is fully charged in normal mode it says I have 272 miles. When I switch to Eco mode it says 201 miles....

Basically, I have no idea how much range I ever have left. I was driving the other day and it showed 50-60 miles left. I put it in Eco mode and it dropped to 14 miles. I put it back in normal mode and it went to 40 miles. Then dropped.

By the time I got home, it said I had 10 miles left - no warning came on or anything.

See picture below. With the A/C on apparently I'm losing 136 miles of range??? If I turn it off it drops to 135 miles... Makes no sense!

Have you tried resetting the GOM? (Turning it on without pressing the brakes, and pressing both brake and accelerator pedals simulataneously for about 10 seconds)

Not experiencing the problem you see, but I didn't get H228 applied and I'm still on S18D for Infotainment. Pretty sure I'm still on 14.2 Telematics, but have no way to check.

I have owned my First Edition I-Pace since March. It ran great for the first couple of months until the dealer did the two major JLR mandated updates. Since then I have experienced range issues. Initially, I was told that the H228 Software Enhancement Program would fix these issues. So back to the dealer and H228 was done. This did not fix the issues. It appears that the two major software updates have destroyed the vehicles ability to adjust range based on driving style, terrain driven and traffic conditions. Since H228 my dealer had a visit from Martin Barratt who is the national EV specialist for JLR NA and he worked on my car. I have, since then, communicated with Martin several times and I will give you some of the salient points I have discovered from him.

Previously described range reset methods no longer work. Current JLR recommended method is to gun the vehicle from standstill to 45mph 3-4 times. This needs to be done in Eco mode. The fully charged range will then reset to 282miles. If you switch to Comfort mode the range will revert to 201miles. These two fully charged range predictions are the only ones I can get on my car currently no matter how I drive. Unfortunately neither of these numbers are close to being real. I have calculated that my actual range averaged over a combination of city and highway driving is around 180miles. My average range prior to the major software updates was around 210 to 215miles. Martin Barratt stated last week that JLR Software Engineering is working on a fix for these issues. No release date is yet available.
