Finally a Jaguar EV

New to the forum and new to Jaguar.

Over the recent years I noticed Jaguar trying to revamp the brand, coming out with new products to reshape its image and so far i've been liking it, but not enough to pull the trigger and buy.

Been open to getting either a gasoline or electric vehicle, it just comes down to what I like, primarily that starts with design (which the I-Pace has a lot of) and goes down the list from that point on.

Maybe the I-Pace will be mine?....here I will figure that out.

Jaguar really has been trying to make a splash in the automotive market these days and going where the market blows, which is EV right now. I was looking at the F-Pace but then I heard about the I-Pace and that seems like a better model for me as I'd prefer to charge my car than go to the gas station.

Jaguar has come a long way this turn around with their new designs. However so far the only thing that really stood out to me was the F-Type of course. The new I-Pace is finally a design that I'm really looking forward to, the only thing now is to see what the production model looks like opposed to the concept.

F-Pace was a nice addition to the market but I feel they could have done better on design, but what's most important from all of that is seeing how well a Jaguar SUV (a first for the brand) is received from the market.

Apparently now they're delving even deeper into the SUV/Crossover market by offering an E-Pace..

Funny how that naming could have played out. Typically the use of "E" would be for the electric vehicle either as an add on or whatever the case is. Nonetheless, I actually did like the way the F-Paces looked. Thought they were pretty nice, in certain specs. Seems like everyone is digging into the SUV segment a bit more now though.

Valid point and it would have been great if they went about it that way but given the lettering sequence of the segments they're giving these letters to I guess it would have been weird. At the end of the day it won't matter anyways, just as long as the product is good.

For sure, I could care less about the name. The name has no relevancy to what the vehicle will be like and what not. But for something coming from Jaguar, I can already anticipate a very well put together vehicle that'll provide good value.

Wasn't the F-Pace very popular once it went on sale? People loved the quality of the build and its performance. Jaguar is most likely going to repeat their success with the I-Pace and maybe even set a new world record like they did with the F-Pace.

The F-Pace did a great response when it came to market. The build quality was a bit iffy just because they had panel fitment issues and what not but overall, very very great response. The I-Pace could definitely hit that level as well but it's really going to be down to pricing. Remember the F-Pace, you can buy one starting from $42k, very easily attainable.

But people expect that here, they know brits in all their infinite wisdom have problems with building cars but excel in a lot of other areas, excelling in areas that can stuff issues under the rug for some. So those issues aside, the F-Pace was a true success.
