New owner in San Diego area

I took delivery of my 2020 I-Pace today. Had a *terrific* first day of driving! The HUD is my favorite feature so far.

I am very very glad that I held out to *not* get the in-glass front windshield heater. I saw that windshield heater on a loaner Jaguar that I drove and it was extremely distracting, especially during the sunset hour.

I am thinking twice about getting the California HOV stickers because of the bumper placement requirements. I don't want to put those on my beautiful finished paint surfaces. Anyone else pause for that reason?

Yes!! I don't have to use the HOV lanes very often and so I keep the stickers in my glove compartment. I cut them down to exactly the sticker size, leaving on the protective backing. I also carry double-sided tape. When I need them I slap them on with the ds tape, takes a minute, and when I'm done I take them off and peel the ds tape off the protective backing. I do not use the sticker's sticky backing. The protective backing stays on the whole time. HTH

I love it, the wife thinks it's ridiculously pretentious. Which it is

I got the stickers for my Toyota RAV4-EV and they sat in the glove box the entire time. OK maybe once a year I could have really saved some time but never felt compelled to install the stickers.
For the I-Pace I decided to just skip it from the get go.

Lots of people really benefit and if I did I would have them on already.

Congrats!!! I did get the stickers and haven't had to use them yet. I really like the idea of double sided tape! So no issues with any tape residue left behind? Do you apply the tape all around the edges? Going to try it
