A few Cosmetic Changes

I added and deleted a few items to the car so thought it was time to share with pics. We ordered the Farallon Black color sight unseen. Spent many months waiting for delivery with great apprehension that it would look navy blue. Nope. It is downright beautiful! The sunshine makes it so special, and the rest of the time it is jet black. Happy. Have had the car 6 months now.
Changes: Replaced the front bevel from steel colored to black. Added mudflaps all around. Tinted front windows. Painted the license plate plastic area with gloss black. Took off back emblems and had only "Jaguar" and the leaper attached back on in shiny black. Guess we went into stealth mode! The biggest problem with that is I have had other cars get in real close to the back, move to the side, then back to behind me. They are clearly trying to see what kind of car it is!
Had many issues with the SOTA, but persevered until I finally achieved it. Had received the email saying it was coming and what to do to prepare. Never got another email that it was ready. Thanks to this forum, I knew it was "out there". Done.
Going into service tomorrow for common issues - back up camera not always working, etc. Knew I was part of the Beta testers (first year owner) when we made the decision to purchase. No major issues. I can say I LOVE this car. Hope the love affair stays!
Sorry about the sideways pic, not sure how to right it!

I gotta say that's one sweet looking ride! I love photo #3 showing the reflection of the red stripe in the driveway. Awesome job!

Thank you! Next up.....paint correction, then some type of finish. Haven't decided yet. A pro applied finish, or a good wax??? Decisions, decisions.......

My I-Pace is Santorini black. It's only my 2nd black car the other being an XK8. I just don't have the time to properly care for a black vehicle so I bought the dealer-offered cilajet application without understanding what I was buying. I read so many complaints about cilajet and the need for a knowledgeable detail shop to do the work.

But, I am very satisfied with the coating including wheels and interior. The car doesn't show water spots and is generally clean after a rain storm - except for the rear trunk area.

I also like the warranty that comes with the application. Other members will offer good advice too but if done properly cilajet is pretty good.

I've had C-Quartz Finest Reserve ceramic coating applied on four cars and I'm very happy with the results.

Thumbs up

I also added mudflaps.
Found out the very front flaps that are in front
of the front tires, are quite low.
If you pull into a parking spot that has a bump stop, you
will scrap the mudflap.
To fix, remember to raise the height to max prior to pulling forward.
I discovered this while pulling up to a Electrify America charger in order to
get close enough for the cable to reach the car plug outlet.

Arent your mudflats behind the wheels? How do they scrape?

I called them mudflaps but what I really am talking about is the short black
half flap that is in front of the front wheels.
