Somewhat tangential to the thread, but while I have the attention of people who care about the looks: I'm going to have the rear door lower panel replaced due to a rear-ender. How do people feel about skipping the spoiler strip below the rear window?

Do it! But take one of your precise energy consumption readings before and after to see what miniscule contribution it has to the aerodynamics.

Who painted Leaper?

The biggest problem with that is I have had other cars get in real close to the back, move to the side, then back to behind me. They are clearly trying to see what kind of car it is!
Did you paint the Leaper and Jaguar letters yourself or have it done by a shop? I like the stealth mode look. I get my Santorini Black FE next week, was thinking about doing the carbon fiber surround for the front grill to get rid of that bit of silver.

I avoided doing the mud flaps, because I thought it would detract from the range. Does anybody know if that is too minuscule to bother about?
